Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grill Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a deep understanding of grill techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Idli, Dosa and grilled dishes according to our high standards and recipes.
- Manage and operate the grill station during service, ensuring food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the kitchen manager for timely replenishment of stock.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Grill Chef or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and meat temperatures.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent certification is a plus but not required.
